Description
Amancay and the Flower
Amancay discovers that her name alludes to a typical flower from the south and her brother Nahuel has that name because of the lake near their house. Autumn is coming, and the family decides to go out and explore the forest of the Llao-Llao Municipal Park. On that walk they discover various flowers, trees and animals typical of Bariloche such as arrayanes, colihue canes, a woodpecker, the chucao bird, the tuco-tuco and many other wonders of creation.
This 4-book bilingual (Spanish/English) collection shares the fun adventures of Amancay and Nahuel, two siblings who live in the beautiful Argentine Patagonia. As the siblings explore mountains, lakes and beaches with their parents, they learn lessons that help them develop their emotional intelligence, to grow in courage and to take good care of our planet.
